MAXWELL SHAW

Maxwell is a sophomore studying Mechanical Engineering, with a great interest in exploring electromechanical systems. This project and class taught him a lot about independent research and applying problem solving techniques to real-world situations.
LAUREN LINDOW
​
Lauren is a junior studying Agricultural Engineering, earning a minor through the Sustainability, Energy, and Environment Fellows Program. This project taught her a great deal about applying thermodynamics theory to make real calculations and analyses related to the energy use and heat transfer.
JACK NUXOLL
​
Jack is a sophomore studying Mechanical Engineering. This project introduced him to the real world applications of what he has been learning in his studies at this university. He is excited for what the future of the University of Illinois has in store.
AVERY HERNDON
​
Avery is a Junior studying Civil Engineering. Her primary focus is transportation engineering and she hopes to work in the aviation field after graduation. This project has taught her how to read plans to apply a real engineering analysis to a steam power plant.
